I organised requirements and content for Terracotta House's website, with AI assisting implementation. The site provides a menu, opening hours and delivery details, and directions to order by telephone.
One small question matters to me: after reading the menu, does the customer know what to do next? The menu helps them choose; the telephone link takes them towards the ordering conversation. Those steps need to connect.
Buttons such as “View the menu” and “Call to order” should say what will happen when clicked. Opening and delivery information should also be easy to find when needed.
A website can have a focused set of features and still provide a clear route from browsing food to contacting the restaurant. Each step needs a recognisable purpose.
