Taxi Vintage Clothing
Finding a stronger story through filming, editing and team feedback.

The project
For a university course, our three-person team made a short film about a vintage shop in Norwich Market. I took primary responsibility for filming and editing, while my teammates covered sound recording and interviewing.
The editing problem
Our first material lacked a continuous story and enough supporting footage. After reviewing the work with tutors and other viewers, we reconsidered the focus and how much visual detail the film needed.
My contribution
I reworked the existing footage around the shopkeeper’s personal experience and incorporated additional B-roll. Feedback also helped me reduce distracting gestures and keep the visual emphasis on the parts that supported the story.
The finished film
The three-minute short is published on the devschooluea YouTube channel. It reflects a team process of filming, reviewing and revising, and taught me how early interview choices affect what is possible in the edit.
